Kristin’s interview with Harvard Health Policy Review

Kristin shares her reflections on MD-PhD training, how it shaped her research career, and advice for early stages of independence in an interview with the Harvard Health Policy Review. Hopefully these insights can be helpful for aspiring scientists or physicians!

Congratulations Tina!

Congratulations to Kristina Lopez for being recognized by Faces of Cell! Kristina’s fearlessness and determination in developing new techniques have opened so many directions for our lab and we have such high expectations and excitement for her future!

Congratulations Diana!

A transatlantic toast to celebrate Diana Gomes’s SNSF Fellowship, Kristina Lopez’s Ford Fellowship, the lab’s second birthday…and that we’re still smiling on Zoom calls!

Congratulations Tina!

An extremely well-deserved (and well-distanced) congratulations to Kristina Lopez for being named a NASEM Ford Fellow! We are so proud of all you’ve overcome and accomplished and grateful for the unique perspective and creative solutions you bring to our lab and the scientific community.

Science by the Pint

We enjoyed sharing our liver goals with the Aeronaut Brewing crowd as part of Science by the Pint. A wonderful initiative for bringing science into the community!

New paper!

Our work revealing the importance of tissue architecture for chromosome segregation fidelity is now published online at Cell. A potential explanation for chromosome instability in cancer, a limitation of two-dimensional culture systems, and a major inspiration for our use of the liver as an in vivo system!
